Privacy Policy


I. General Provisions

  1. The Privacy Policy defines how the personal data of Users necessary for the provision of electronic services via the website ctsolutions.eu (hereinafter referred to as the Service) are collected, processed, and stored.
  2. The Service collects only the personal data necessary for the provision and development of the services offered within it.
  3. Personal data collected through the Service are processed in accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and the personal data protection act of 10 May 2018.


II. Data Administrator


The personal data collected through the Service are controlled by Clinical Trials Solutions Sp. z o. o., located at Pl. Dworcowy 4, 33-100 Tarnów, KRS: 0000712654, NIP: 9930666092, REGON: 369371928, email address: contact@smartrials.eu (hereinafter referred to as the Administrator).


III. Purpose of Collecting Personal Data

  1. Personal data are used for:
    • providing community services,
    • promoting the Administrator’s offerings,
    • marketing, remarketing, and affiliate marketing,
    • personalizing the Service for Users,
    • analytical and statistical activities,
    • establishing and pursuing claims or defending against them.
  2. Providing data is voluntary but necessary to enter into a contract or use other functionalities of the Service.


IV. Types of Personal Data Processed


The Administrator may process the following personal data of the User: first and last name, email address, and phone number.


V. Period of Processing Personal Data

  1. 1. Personal data of Users will be processed for the period:
    • when the basis for data processing is the performance of a contract – until the expiry of claims after its performance,
    • when the basis for data processing is consent – until its withdrawal, and after withdrawal, until the expiry of claims.
  2. In both cases, the period of limitation is 6 years, and for claims for periodic benefits and claims related to conducting business activities – 3 years (unless a specific regulation provides otherwise).


VI. Sharing Personal Data

  1. Personal data of Users may be transferred to: entities associated with the Administrator, its subcontractors, and entities cooperating with the Administrator e.g., companies handling electronic payments, courier/postal service providers, and law firms.
  2. Personal data of Users will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

 

VII. User Rights

  1. Users of the Service have the right to: access their personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time (which does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal).
  2. Requests to exercise the rights listed above should be sent to the address contact@smartrials.eu
  3. The Administrator fulfills or denies the request promptly – within a maximum of one month from its receipt.
  4. Users have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if they believe that the processing violates their rights and freedoms (GDPR).


VIII. Cookies

  1. The Service collects information using cookies – session, persistent, and third-party.
  2. The collection of cookies supports the proper provision of services in the Service and serves statistical purposes.
  3. Users can specify the extent to which cookies can access their device in the browser settings.


IX. Automated Decision Making and Profiling

  1. User data may not be processed in an automated manner such that any decisions could be made against them.
  2. User data may be profiled for the purpose of content adjustment and offer personalization, upon their consent.


X. Final Provisions

  1. The Administrator has the right to make changes to the Privacy Policy, while the rights of Users will not be restricted.
  2. Information about the introduced changes will appear in the form of a notification available in the Service.
  3. Matters not regulated in this Privacy Policy are subject to the provisions of the GDPR and Polish law.
